How to register if you keep up to 49 birds, including any you keep pets. If keep any number of birds at any premises, you are required by law to register the birds and the location where they are kept. Return and Refund Policy

Roxy’s Pet Shop – Returns & Refund Policy

This Returns & Refund Policy sets out the terms under which customers may return products or request refunds in respect of purchases made at Roxy’s Pet Shop. By making a purchase, the customer accepts and agrees to the conditions outlined below.

1. Live Animals

1.1 48-Hour Health Guarantee
All live animals purchased from Roxy’s Pet Shop are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. A health guarantee of forty-eight (48) hours from the time of purchase applies.

1.2 Exclusion from Standard Returns Policy
Please note that livestock is excluded from our standard returns and refund policy, unless the animal shows signs of illness within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase.

1.3 Customer Obligations
If you have any concerns about your pet’s health, we strongly recommend contacting a qualified veterinarian as your first point of contact. Customers are also encouraged to notify Roxy’s Pet Shop promptly, and we will provide reasonable advice or refer you to a veterinarian with suitable expertise in the species concerned.

1.4 Refunds and Exchanges for Live Animals
Where an animal becomes unwell or dies within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase, customers must notify Roxy’s Pet Shop immediately. At our discretion, and subject to verification (which may include the return of the animal and/or provision of a veterinary report), a refund, exchange, or store credit may be issued.

2. Pet Supplies and Accessories

2.1 Non-Livestock Goods – Change of Mind
Non-livestock goods, including but not limited to food, bedding, toys, and accessories, may be returned within fourteen (14) days of purchase, provided that:

The goods are unused and in their original, unopened packaging; and
Proof of purchase is supplied.

2.2 Faulty or Defective Goods
If goods are found to be faulty or defective, customers may return the item(s) within thirty (30) days of purchase with proof of purchase. Roxy’s Pet Shop will, at its discretion, provide a replacement, refund, or store credit.

3. Exclusions

3.1 For reasons of hygiene and safety, certain goods (including but not limited to opened pet food, used bedding, chews, or treats) cannot be returned unless faulty.
3.2 Roxy’s Pet Shop reserves the right to decline any return, refund, or exchange where the above conditions have not been met.

4. General Provisions

4.1 Proof of purchase (receipt or transaction record) is required in all cases.
4.2 Nothing in this Policy affects a customer’s statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
4.3 Roxy’s Pet Shop reserves the right to amend this Returns & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
